How to use Rachael Ray Hard Anodized 10-Pc Cookware Set
We have had this Rachael Ray Hard Anodized 10-Pc Cookware Set for a month or so now and they dishwasher wash well, aren’t very heavy and are as described however 4 stars because I would point out that the set is on the small side. not small in amount but small that a large family would not find them practical if I had held them in hand before purchase I would have known this. We will need to change up our cooking habits a little. But they are great non stick and hold heat well. Maybe I will add more to this later.
Use them daily. We run them through the dishwasher frequently and have had no issues. The coating on the pans is holding up after 6 months of use with plastic and wood utensils. The lids are nice but the small frying pan (8.5 inches?) doesn’t come with a one which is irritating. I tend to use that pan quite a bit and could have used a lid. Oh well, overall nice set. Better than the cheap ones like Wearever and TFAL we’ve been using up until these but not as good as some more expensive aluminum cook wear I used years back. In this case you get what you pay for.
I just moved into a new apartment, and the first night we cooked, we used one of these pans to make a rice mix. Having been adjusted to my previous stove, I accidentally turned the wrong burner to medium heat and left the one I was using on high (the nobs are flipped from what I’m used to). Not noticing until the smell seemed too bad to be the oven, all of the liquid had cooked out of the pan and we could see the blackened edges. If you’ve ever overcooked rice or pasta, you know what a nightmare that can be to the bottom of a pan. I was sure we had destroyed the pan on the first use and I was super bummed. When I went to go attempt to scrape out the rice over the sink, the entire chunk of rice just fell out and the pan looked good as new. I just had to run some hot water over the pan to get a few leftover burnt pieces off, and it was completely clean. I was very impressed by the Rachael Ray Hard Anodized 10-Pc Cookware Set.
